Growing Food For Our Community. Teaching Others To Do The Same

At Jacob’s Reward Farm, our mission is rooted in a simple truth: you reap what you sow. And we’re sowing seeds of hope, knowledge, and nourishment—right here in Parker, Texas.

We’re tackling two urgent needs in our community: hunger and the growing disconnect from self-sustainability. When you join us—whether as a volunteer, a sponsor, or a donor—you become more than a supporter. You become family. A family of givers, planting seeds of change that will grow into something life-giving for others.

Giving: Our All To Fight Hunger

We work hand-in-hand with local food banks and community organizations to ensure that much of what we grow and raise gets to those who need it most. Through partnerships with groups like the Allen Food Pantry, we help feed families, veterans, and children—quickly and directly.

Teaching: Others To Live Sustainably

We believe in the life-changing power of learning to live more simply and more sustainably. That’s why we host hands-on workshops where you can take on farm construction projects, build raised garden beds, learn to care for animals, or even plant your very first tomato. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a lifelong learner, there’s something here for you—and every skill you gain is one more way to give back.

Growing: Relationships That Last A Life-time

The garden isn’t the only thing growing here. Every weekend, volunteers from all backgrounds come together to serve, learn, and connect. New friendships take root, old skills are rediscovered, and a deeper sense of purpose begins to bloom. No matter your experience or background, you’ll find a place of belonging—and leave with more than you came for.

Inspiring: Others To Repeat The Cycle

We believe that giving, teaching, and growing create a powerful ripple effect—one that extends far beyond our fields. Every act of kindness, every skill shared, and every relationship built sends out a wave of inspiration that touches others in the community, even those who’ve never set foot on the farm. It’s a chain of hope that keeps growing, season after season.

Very lovely farm! I have a little homeschool group and Cindy was so gracious and kind. She took us on a tour of her farm. I had a really great experience, so did the children. It’s amazing she gives back to her community by donating produce and chicken to those in need. They are doing wonderful things here. I’d love to come back and volunteer some day.

If you're questioning whether or not you should volunteer here - DO IT! It was an awesome experience with awesome people. You will learn so much from Cindy and be able to apply that knowledge to your own life and your community. Not only is this experience educational, but it's so much fun. Cannot wait to come back! :)

We loved working in the Giving garden farm today. The farm is very well kept, Cindy and Lynne were amazing in giving us the farm tour and explaining how it serves the community. I love their passion to serve and would love to continue volunteering here.

We've Come Together For Something Bigger

Since opening our gates on October 21st, 2022, Jacob’s Reward Farm—hand in hand with our dedicated volunteers—has donated over 1,143 pounds of fresh produce, 194 dozen eggs, and 119 animals for meat to the Allen Food Pantry in Allen, Texas.

These contributions are the result of countless hours spent planting, tending, gathering, and caring—often through the full range of Texas weather, from scorching heat to chilly mornings and muddy fields. Our volunteers give more than just their time; they offer their resilience, compassion, and deep belief in the mission of feeding others.

Together, we’re building more than just a farm—we’re nurturing a movement rooted in service, community, and the strength of many hands working as one.
